Identity Euphoria and Maggie Mae’s Bookshop are excited to present A Slay on Words—a literary-themed drag event!
On Saturday, Oct. 10, A Slay on Words will highlight talent from local drag queens at Maggie Mae’s Bookshop in downtown Gresham, starting with an all-ages story time (open to the public) followed by a ticketed 18+ drag performance and silent auction.
The story time will run from 4-4:45 p.m. and is open to the general public. The ticketed drag show will begin at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:40 p.m.
There will be a selection of silent auction items to browse throughout the evening, including books read during story time signed by the performers. We also encourage you to shop from our lovely co-host and venue, Maggie Mae's Bookshop before the show, during intermission and after. Time for photos with the performers is also scheduled.
